Key
Bold - Applies bold formatting to selected text.
Ctrl + B
Italic - Applies italic formatting to selected text.
Ctrl + I
Underline - Applies underline formatting to selected text.
Ctrl + U
Strikethrough - Applies strikethrough formatting to selected text.
Align text left - Aligns the selected paragraph to the left.
Center - Aligns the selected paragraph to the center.
Align Right - Aligns the selected paragraph to the right.
Justify - Aligns selected text along left margin. Letter and word spacing is adjusted so that the text falls flush with both margins on lines with no return.
Color - Use dropdown to change color of the selected text.
Background color - Use dropdown to apply background color to highlight the selected text.
Font - Use dropdown to select font family for selected text. Hover and click "x" to clear.
Font size - Use dropdown to select font size for selected text. Hover and click "x" to clear.
Undo - Clears last action.
Ctrl + Z
Redo - Clears last undo.
Ctrl + Shift + Z
Insert hyperlink - Converts selected text to a link. Enter or paste url into pop-up window.
Ctrl + K
Remove hyperlink - (appears when selected text contains a hyperlink) Removes hyperlink from selected text.
Ctrl + Shift + K
Indent - Incrementally indents selected text.
Outdent - Incrementally removes indent from selected text.
Applies bullets to each line of selected text.
Applies numbered list to each line of selected text.
Search - Finds and highlights specified text within the entire page. Navigate from one occurrence to the next using the up/down arrows. Works in all browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari.
Ctrl + F
Copy - Copies selected content to the clipboard.
Ctrl + C
Inserts text or image from clipboard into description.
Ctrl + V
Paste Plain Text - Pastes plain text (no formatting) into the Alert Editor.
Ctrl + Shift + V
Spell Check - Unrecognized words will be underlined in red. Right-click on word to display suggested spelling selections.
