My Dashboard Definition allows the customization of pre-defined filters that are used in various client and project management dashboards and modules. Dashboards defined as "My" typically display clients or projects that are assigned to a specific AE or Manager. This can be expanded by defining the data that is displayed in the dashboards and modules based on the options available within this application.
The dashboards and modules that use the definitions are broken down into two main categories; Finance and Accounting and Project Management and each have their own definition options.
My Dashboard Definition grants 'other' employees to access client related and/or project management related dashboards that typically could only be viewed by the Account Executive or Traffic Manager/assigned employee.
From the Main Menu select Maintenance. Expand the General Maintenance section and select My Dashboard Definition to display the My Dashboard Definition Maintenance application.
Select the Dashboard Type. Options available are Finance and Accounting or Project Management.
Changes made to My Dashboard Definitions are automatically saved.
