Time Zone

 

Time Zone Display can be used to assign different time zones, including Daylight Savings Time for the Database Server and the Agency as their locations can differ from each other. A User may set their own time zone in My Settings that will override both the Agency Time Zone and Database Server Time Zone settings.  

After both the Database Server Time Zone and the Agency Time Zone are set, the difference between the two time zones is calculated and reflects the time zone in Alerts (Inbox listing, Alert Header, Comments and Attachments), Inboard/Outboard Dashboards, Media Manager, Reviews and VCC Dashboard Transactions.

To reflect the actual Agency's time zone that Alert / Assignment activities were generated, select the following time zones:

The calculation for the Alerts uses the Database Server location's time zone and the Agency's location time zone entered. For calculation purposes, if either the Database Server Time Zone or the Agency Time Zone selects the '[Don't Change]' option, both will automatically be changed to '[Don't Change]'.

Time Zone set accounts for Daylight Savings Time in Alert Comments, Alert Attachments, In/Out Board (All / My) Dashboards, Media Manager, Reviews and VCC Dashboard Transactions.
