Financial Status provides a summary and detailed listing of all job information comparing the Estimate to Actuals, Employee Time, Vendor, Purchase Order, Client Out of Pocket and Billed Amount, including variances. The option to break out non-billable items from the actual total amount for a more detailed comparison is also available.
To view the Financial Status, click on the Financial Status link on the Project Management Dashboard (PMD).
The Project Management Dashboard (PMD) includes all modules available through Job Jacket and additional Job related information.
If the module appears disabled, it just means that the record has not been created yet. Click on the 'disabled' link to access that module.
The PMD will be available from other applications that are accessed through Job Jacket or when searched for by Job. The Action Button is available to create Bookmarks and send Alerts and Assignments.

* Include Non Billable - This is the default setting and designates that all non-billable function totals are included in the Actual Total column.
** Breakout All Non Billable - Select this option to view the non-billable total separately from the Actual Total column. The value is displayed in the Non Billable Total column.
*** Breakout Non Billable for Function Types - Select this option to view the non-billable total by function type separately from the Actual Total column and the value is displayed in the Non Billable Total column. Select the specific function types to include: Employee Time, Income Only or Vendor.
To Export the Financial Status summary information to Excel, click on the Export to Excel button. On the File Download popup, click Open or Save.
Function Description - The function associated with the job.
Function Type - C = Client Out of Pocket, E = Employee Function, I = Income Only Function and V = Vendor Function
Quote Amount - The amount that was quoted for the function, excluding Markup and Tax.
Quote Markup - The quoted Markup for the function.
Quote Tax - The quoted amount of Sales Tax or Resale Tax for the function.
Quote Qty/Hrs - The quoted hours or quantity for the function.
Quote Total - The quoted total amount for the function, including Markup and Tax.
Actual Amount - The actual amount for the function, excluding Markup and Tax.
Actual Markup - The actual markup for the function.
Actual Tax - The actual amount of Sales Tax or Resale Tax for the function.
Actual Qty/Hrs - The actual hours or quantity for the function.
Actual Total - The actual total amount for the function, including Markup and Tax.
Non-Billable Qty/Hrs - The total hours or quantity for non-billable functions.
Non-Billable Total - The actual total amount for non-billable functions.
Open PO Net Amount - The open purchase order amount for the function, excluding Markup and Tax (net amount).
Billing Approved (Pending) - The amount that has been approved in the Billing Approval process but has not yet been invoiced.
Billed To Date - The actual amount billed 'to date' including Markup and Tax.
Quote vs Actual / PO - The quote total 'less' the actual total 'plus' open purchase order amount. The amount represents the remaining quote balance.
Actual/PO vs Billed - The actual total 'plus' open purchase order amounts 'less' the amount billed to date. The amount represents the remaining amount to be billed. A negative number indicates that the function has been Advanced Billed (billed without actual charges present). The variance is the amount that is over/under the amount to be billed from actual expenses entered in Time Entry, Income Only and Accounts Payable and the expected expenses remaining in open purchase orders net. (Total Actual 'plus' Open Purchase Orders Net Amount 'less' the Billed to Date Amount)
Subtotal - Total quantity/hours per Function Type for Quoted and Actual.
Displays Financial Status Detail information.
The Detail tab automatically displays with expanded details. To close the details, click the Collapse button. The Collapse button becomes an 'Expand' button to view details again.
To include Resale Tax in the Details, click the Resale Tax button (next to the Export to Excel button).
To Export the Financial Status Detail information to Excel, click on the Export to Excel button. On the File Download popup, click Open or Save.
Function - The function associated with the job.
Fnc Type (Function Type) - C = Client Out of Pocket, E = Employee Function, I = Income Only Function and V = Vendor Function
Date - For Employee Functions, the Date is the date of the Time Entry. For Vendor Functions, the Date is the date of the invoice to the Vendor.
Description / Vendor / Employee - The description of the function and the Vendor or Employee Name.
Invoice / Description - The Purchase Order Number or Invoice Number and description for the function.
A/P Document - A Document icon will appear if a document has been added to the Accounts Payable Client Invoice. Click on the icon to view all attachments.
Hours / Quantity - The Employee Hours entered or the Quantity billed to the Vendor.
Amount - The Net Amount billed by the Vendor or Net Amount of billable time for the Employee.
Markup / Commission - The Markup Amount when the invoice is created or the Commission Amount invoiced by the Vendor on a gross buy.
Tax - The amount of Vendor or Resale Tax on the invoice.
Total - The total amount of the invoice to include Markup or Commission and Tax.
Non Billable - If the function is non-billable, an indicator green checkmark will display.
Open P.O. / Net Amount - The open purchase order amount excluding Markup and Tax (Net Amount). Open purchase orders are defined as orders that are not marked 'Complete' and have an open balance (Accounts Payable invoices equal to or exceeding the purchase order amount that have not been applied).
Billed / To Date - The actual amount billed 'to date' including Markup and Tax.
A/R Invoice - The Account Receivable Invoice number.
A/R Document - A Document icon will appear if a document has been added to the Account Receivable. Hover over the Document icon to display the number of documents that are attached. Click on the icon to view all attachments.
Adjustment / Description - Description of transactions done in Billing Adjustments.
Displays billed invoice information.
To Export the Financial Status Billing information to Excel, click on the Export to Excel button. On the File Download popup, click Open or Save.
Invoice Number - The Accounts Receivable Invoice number.
Invoice Date - The Accounts Receivable Invoice date.
Posting Period - The posting period the invoice is applied to.
Hours Billed - The employee hours billed to the client.
Net Amount Billed - The amount that has been billed excluding Markup/Commission and Tax.
Markup Amount Billed - The amount of markup billed.
Actual Amount Billed - The total net amount billed including Markup/Commission and excluding Tax.
Resale Tax Billed - The amount of Resale Tax billed.
Total Billed - The total net amount billed including Markup/Commission and Tax.
Paid Amount - The total amount of the cast receipts applied to the AR invoice.
