The Assignments & Alerts dashboard displays all Assignments, Alerts & Tasks that are present in the Assignments & Alert Manager. Assignments, Alerts & Tasks that have not been read display with a closed envelope icon and the subject text is bolded. Assignments, Alerts & Tasks that have been read display with an open envelope icon and the subject text are not bolded.
To customize the display of the Assignments & Alerts dashboard, either click on the Column Preferences icon or right click on a column heading. A Columns popup will display within the grid. Hover the mouse over to select the columns to be displayed. All selections (or un-selections) will be automatically saved. Options are: Sprint ID, Subject, Start, Due (Date), Time Due, Type, Client, Project, Last Updated (date) and Last Update By. When completed, click outside the Columns popup.
View - To view the Assignment/Alert/Task, click on either the closed envelope icon / open envelope icon envelope icon or the Subject line.
Dismiss Alert - To dismiss an Alert click on the Dismiss Alert icon.
Complete Assignment - To complete and Assignment/Task, click on the Checkmark icon.
Priority - Alerts/Assignments are color coded based on priority:

Refresh - Use to manually update / refresh data displayed. The Assignment/Alert/Task count will automatically update as Assignment/Alert/Task are added, reassigned, dismissed or completed.
Re-Order Alerts Display - The Alerts display order can be re-arranged using a drag and drop method. This will not change the Assignment/Alert/Task Due Dates or priorities, but it will re-order the Assignment/Alert/Task in how they appear within the Assignment & Alert Manager and within the Dashboard. This feature cannot be done when the filter is set to show My Assignment & Alerts.
Use the Drag Handle to drop the Assignment/Alert/Task into a different order.
Remove Re-Order - The re-order can be removed by sorting by any column.
A filter is available to narrow down the alerts that display. Click on the Filter row to display the filter options.
Type - Click on the drop down menu to select the Type of Alert to be displayed in the window. The types available are Alert, Approvals, Billing, Client Alert, Media, Missing Time, Production and Project Schedule. The default view is Show All.
Group/Filter - Select to display the alerts based on specific 'grouping'. Available grouping options are: None, Category, Office, Client, Division, Product, Campaign, Estimate, Estimate Component, Job, Job/Component, Task, State, Due Date or Priority.
Show - Use the dropdown to select the type of alerts to display: My Assignments & Alerts, My Alerts or My Assignments.
Including Assignments based on user defined in the My Dashboard Definition (Advantage | Maintenance) application.
Category - Click on the drop down menu to select the desired Alert category to be displayed in the results. The categories available are based on the Alert type selected in the Type drop down menu. For example, if the Billing type is selected, the Billing Selection category is available. See table in Alerts for more categories based on the type selected.
Search - Enter text to search to narrow the tasks listed and click Search binoculars.
Text - Searches for text, case insensitive and/or incomplete words, in the Alert Subject, Last Update By and the Alert Body.
Numeric - Searches for a number in the Alert ID and Job Number fields as well as the Alert Subject, Last Updated By and the Alert Body.
Once done, click on the Filter row to close the Filter. Use the Refresh icon to refresh results.
Use the Change page navigational arrows to view all records. Control the number of records to display using the Page size option.
