Profile Administration is an application that can be used to apply profiles to all users at the same time, including photographs and user's nicknames. Users may also edit their own profiles through My Settings based on security setup.
Select the Maintenance button on the Main Menu. Expand the General button and select Profile Administration to open the Profile Administration application. It can also be accessed from Settings on the main Webvantage page.
Initially users that have not been set up will display with a generic picture.
The following are options that can be used within Calendar display, based on filter settings:
Employee - Displays the user's full name (First, Middle Initial, Last Name). Employees are sorted by First Name, but can be re-sorted by any column by clicking on the column header.
Nickname - Enter a nickname for the user. This will display the nickname versus user's full name within Calendar.
Employee Picture - Use the Select button to upload a picture of the user. This will be used within Calendar.
Maximum size: 500KB / Allowed file types: .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png or .bmp
When completed, on the toolbar click the Save button.
To remove the Employee Picture, click the Remove link by the picture. A warning mess will display verifying that the selected rows are to be cleared.
To remove Nickname AND Employee Picture, select the checkbox for all applicable employees and click Clear Settings icon. A warning message will display verifying that the selected rows are to be cleared.
**Note: Save changes to the screen before using the 'change page' navigation, otherwise all new/modified entries will be lost. |
Click on the x on Profile Maintenance to exit the maintenance application.
