When Webvantage is logged into, the Desktop will automatically display in a tab. The Main Menu, located on the left side of the screen contains all the available applications. Toolbar icons on the right side of the screen are Help, Alert Notifications, Desktop, Settings and Sign Out.
On the Main Menu, click on the Hamburger at the top left to display a pop-out menu listing of all modules available, based on security. Drill down into the modules to expand the modules and display applications. Select an application to access. Each application will open in a 'tabbed' window within Webvantage. Multiple modules, jobs, assignments etc. can be open at the same time. To close the pop-out menu, click the 'x' at the top right of the menu.

Search (magnifying glass icon) - Use this menu option to directly access the Find (search) screen for the following applications that opens directly to the application's search screen:

Find Across Modules
Find across modules opens a Search popup.
Use this menu option to search various applications by using keywords, with the ability to search Exact terms.. When using Exact, the search entry must match exactly to the selected application/options.
Example: Exact term of 'Plan Meeting' matches the Task Description in Schedule and would display in search results. The entry of just 'Meeting' does not exactly match that Task Description and therefore would not be included in the results.
Search In
To select which applications and options to search in, click the Search In icon (right of the Search button) to select from the following:
Once completed, click the Save button. To exit the Search In click the x on the top right corner.

To access Webvantage Help, select the Help icon, located on the Toolbar.
Click Show at the top of the screen to display Help options.
Webvantage help follows the customary HTML help format. A two-paned window is used to display help topics, and control navigation through the system. Webvantage's help system contains all of the information you need to set up and run your Webvantage system.
The Alert Notification icon displays on the right side of the menu bar. When alert notification has been received, the number or notifications will display in red. Use the down arrow, located to the right of the Notification icon to:
Mark all as read - To mark all alerts as read, click the Mark all as read (envelope) icon within the Alert Notification popup.
Dismiss all alerts - To dismiss all alerts, click on the Dismiss all alerts (recycle) icon. The Dismiss All Alerts does not complete Assignments.
To view the notifications, click on the Notification icon to display the notifications in the lower right corner. To view the individual Assignment / Alert, click on the notification. The Assignment / Alert will open in a new tab on the main screen. To close the Assignment / Alert, click on the x on the tab.
To option to activate the Alert Notification popup is setup in Advantage | Maintenance | General | Agency | System & Alerts Options - 'Enable Alert Notifications?' setting.
The Desktop is comprised of most of the User Information displayed in a desktop window. The Desktop will open automatically when Webvantage opens.
Settings allows the user to customize the look and feel of Webvantage by choosing various options. The Settings is a 'gear' icon, located on the right side of the menu bar.
Profile Administration - Used to apply profiles to all users at the same time, including photographs and user's nicknames.
Agency Settings - Agency Settings allows the agency to customize their employees' look and feel of Webvantage by choosing a default logo (for the login screen) and/or default wallpaper. Click here for detailed information regarding Agency Settings.
Color Themes
Accent Color- Use the dropdown to select a color as an accent color.
Login Page Color - Use the dropdown to select a color for the login page.
My Time Zone - Allows the user to set their own time zone that will override both the Agency Time Zone and Database Server Time Zone settings in Webvantage | Maintenance | General | Time Zone. The time zone is used in the dashboards In/Out Board, In/Out Board (All), Alert Assignments and in Alert listing, Inbox listing, Alert Header, Alert Comments and the Alert e-mail body.
Profile Settings - Allows the user to upload personal information:
Nickname - Enter a nickname that can be used within Webvantage Calendar.
Profile Picture - Select a profile picture that can be displayed within Webvantage Calendar.
Maximum size: 200kb
Allowed file types: .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png & .bmp.
Once completed, click the Save button.
Employee Signature - The Employee signature will be used on various standard reports or forms throughout the Advantage and Webvantage systems. Examples include Estimates, Media Orders and Purchase Orders.
Specific requirements for the Signature file include:.
Must be a '.gif' (Graphics Interchange Format), '.bmp (Bitmap), .png (Portable Graphics), .jpeg or .jpg (Joint Photographics Experts Group).
Image dimensions must be exactly 2.75" x .75".
Image size cannot be larger than 32,765 Bytes (32.7K). A warning message will be displayed when the signature file is not valid.
To add a Signature, click on the Select Files button, located in the Signature section of the Settings window. On the Select File popup, locate and select the file and click Open. The Signature will automatically be displayed.
To delete a Signature, click on the X (Delete) button, located to the right of the Signature.
Agency Settings allows the agency to customize their employees' look and feel of Webvantage by choosing a default logo (for the login screen) and/or default wallpaper.
Enable Agency Branding - Select the Enable Agency Branding to override My Settings.
Agency Logo Upload - Upload a logo to display when signing into Webvantage. Use the Upload link to upload a new logo. Use the Remove link to remove the logo.
Maximum size: 200KB
Allowed fie type: .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png or .bmp

Once completed, click the Save button. To not save changes made, click the Cancel button.
There are two ways to log out of Webvantage:
Click on the Sign Out icon, located next to the Settings icon on the main toolbar.
Click on the Sign Out icon, located at the bottom of the Main Menu.
